ABC Japan's psychological care service

Online Emotional Support for Residents in Japan

【Overview】

This service provides short-term psychological support (up to 5 sessions). It is designed to offer guidance and emotional assistance in moments of difficulty, crisis, or personal need.
Our goal is to help you manage urgent needs and gain greater clarity and confidence in finding the best path forward for yourself.

⚠️ Important
This is not continuous psychotherapy. Each session is independent (you choose the frequency), and this service does not qualify as long-term psychotherapy.

【How to Prepare for Your Session】

  • Choose a quiet, private, and comfortable location;

  • Ensure a stable internet connection;

【Psychologists vs. Medical Doctors】

It is important to understand that psychologists and psychiatrists have different roles.
Our focus at ABC Japan is emotional well-being through counseling and guidance. We do not provide medical diagnoses or prescribe medication.

If you require a diagnosis or medication, please consult a psychiatrist or medical doctor.
Information about medical institutions in Japan can be found through the AMDA International Medical Information Center.

【Policies on Bookings】

  • Late arrivals: A 15-minute grace period is allowed. After that, the session must be rescheduled and will count as one of your 5 sessions.

  • Cancellations: Last-minute cancellations without justification will also count as a completed session.
