- Support to disaster areas
Since the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake in the Tohoku area, ABC Japan organized support actions. For three years after the earthquake disaster, ABC Japan visited the Tohoku region 9 times.
In 2015 during the Kanto-Tohoku heavy rainfalls, ABC Japan gathered and delivered supplies to the city of Mizukaido. In 2016, ABC Japan delivered supplies and support to rebuild the infrastructure in Kumamoto after the Kumamoto Earthquake of 2016.
The emergency food collection was organized through social media and Facebook, and it was possible to gather a lot of support from the community. The arduous work of organizing and preparing the supplies was only possible because ABC Japan gathered assistance from the students, regular volunteers and the local community.
Because some of the students are from various countries, ABC Japan also organized support for disasters abroad, through getting in touch with their Embassies and gathering support from some companies to deliver collected supplies to the disaster areas.

- Action to fight the spread of COVID-19
Predicting the possible economic crisis the pandemic would cause, in May 2020 ABC Japan started a campaign of food collection and distribution to support foreign families that would have to face financial difficulties due to the impact caused by the spread of COVID-19.
ABC Japan received a lot of support and donations from the local community, similarly to when collecting emergency supplies to assist disaster areas. Using social media to spread the campaign, volunteers and food banks collaborated with us to deliver food to 127 families until July 2020.
