ABC Japan’s branch office is located in Ota City (Gunma Prefecture), which is inhabited by a large population of foreigners of many different nationalities.
At our branch, in addition to educational guidance, elementary and high school students with foreign roots can focus their attention on what they want to do and pursue a dream that will lead to their future education and career.
We also aim to provide lectures, workshops and sporting events, encouraging multicultural integration in this region.

Our activities
SPACE AMIGO
Study support for students of foreign origin between the ages of 7 and 14 who are studying in Japanese schools.
This is a safe study space where students can focus on learning Japanese and other subjects at their own pace and also to spend time in a relaxed atmosphere, not just to study.
Volunteer university students and people who are already working offer individual support with homework and subjects in which students have difficulties.It is also possible to talk to foreign veterans and ask for advice about school life and entrance exams.

FREE SCHOOL
ABC Free School offers students support to pass the admission exam to join the Japanese High School (高校 koukou).
This educational support was designed for foreign students who have recently arrived in Japan, who have already completed their studies in Junior High or who have not had the opportunity to study in Japan yet.
Course content: Japanese, Mathematics and English.
Monthly fee: ¥23,000
